Skin-on-frame vs stitch-and-glue — choose your method

• Skin-on-frame: lightest weight (20–30 lb finished), most forgiving build (no lofting, no chinework), most repairable, most traditional. Aesthetic: visible frame through translucent skin.
• Stitch-and-glue: stiffer hull, more abrasion-resistant, more “modern boat” appearance, slightly heavier (35–45 lb finished). Better for rocky landings.
